BOSCONS SHINE AT EUREKA INTERNATIONAL 2012
|
Bosco never leaves any stone unturned. The students proved it right yet another time by not only participating but bagging many positions in Eureka International 2012 making the memories of the prize distribution ceremony etched in our minds forever. Eureka was organised by CMS Anand Nagar Campus (Lucknow) from 25th November, 2012 to 28th November, 2012.
Eureka International 2012 was a four day long extravaganza of science, Literature, environmental education, media and advertisement, journalism and entertainment for primary and junior students. This four day meet, where 59 schools participated from around the world, unfurled a panorama of events in the form of myriad competitions.
It was a moment of pride for the entire Bosco community when these pillars of pride proved themselves at Eureka and brought laurels to the school by bagging SECOND position in Pop-Art and Merry-Querries. Pop Art was an art and craft based activity in which the students made a collage on the theme ‘Geo-logically Yours’. This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance of Ms.Deepa. On the other hand, Merry Queries, a quiz competition designed to test the knowledge of primary students had two difficult rounds. Keeping the tips of the mentors Ms.Kusum and Ms.Neha Saxena in the mind, these young Boscons went all through this challenging journey to reach the pinnacle. This was certainly not the end as a consolation prize in Zero-Carbon-city was waiting for our Boscons. Under the guidance of Ms.Priya Handa, these students campaigned to save earth and build a city that will not hurt the planet. The team was accompanied by Ms. Swati Kapoor and Ms. Neha Arora.
The entire Bosco fraternity wishes these winners and hopes that such achievements would never come to an end.
